I'd definitely recommend the TIJ book _if_ you can already program in _a_
language, and want to learn Java.
The PDF and Palm versions (They dropped the Pilot bit ages ago, it sounds
too rude ;) are available from http://www.bruceeckel.com/javabook.html
(Ok, the Palm version is linked to somewhere else, before anyone gets
picky).
The location of the C++ book is left up to you, as is the reason why
anyone would want to go anywhere near C++ in the first place ;)
If you're mirroring the book on your website, it'd only be polite to let
the guy know. He might even put a link on his site. (There's plenty there
already).
